We are excited to announce these upcoming workshops delivered by Peter & Violet Dhu from Corporate Communication Experts.

Peter Dhu is an experienced and acclaimed keynote speaker, trainer and coach in the area of presentation skills, public speaking and overcoming fear. For over 20 years Peter has helped thousands of people overcome their fear of public speaking and become more confident and effective in the delivery of their presentations. He has helped people find their voices and their passion so that they can now share these with the world with courage and conviction through their own presentations.

His style is inspirational and transformational. He uses his own story of adversity mixed with experiential learning, example and theory to create a rich learning environment. A medical scientist by profession, Peter has also studied extensively in the area of business and leadership, culminating in his Masters of Business and Administration and Diploma in Professional Coaching. Peter has extensive experience in the area of business communication, presentation skills and personal effectiveness.

Before starting his own consulting business he worked for the WA Health Department for 30 years in senior management positions. While there, Peter managed the Organ Donation Agency, one of the state wide health programs. He also represented the department and government on many state and national committees and working parties. High level business communication skills, including writing speeches for the Minister, negotiation and networking were essential in Peter’s success in these roles.

Violet Dhu has over 15 years’ experience in helping people develop their interpersonal and communication skills. As an experienced Social Worker, speaker, trainer, and graduate of the Harvard University Negotiation Institute, Violet has worked with many people who are dealing with difficult situations in their workplace and are struggling to be heard. These include difficult conversations, workplace conflict, anxiety, leadership challenges, speaking up, giving feedback, women in leadership and dealing with self-doubt.

Violet provides training and coaching and keynote speaking in the areas of assertive communication, interpersonal skills, difficult conversations, office etiquette, nonverbal communication and women in leadership. Violet has a special interest in empowering women to become great leaders and more assertive communicators.

Violet has helped thousands of people to speak up, communicate effectively, move into leadership and to participate in conversations confidently. She believes that everyone has a right to speak up and be heard.

Workshop 1: SPEAKING FOR PROFITS – HOW TO USE PUBLIC SPEAKING TO LEVERAGE AND GROW YOUR BUSINESS

This workshop will show you how to grow your business through public speaking. One of the most effective ways of education people and marketing your business is by speaking one to many. In the workshop you will learn various strategies to speak and share your information to help increase your brand recognition, reach more people and increase sales. Speaking is a simple and affordable way to boost your business through marketing your offering. Speaking is also a great way to add value and service existing clients.
